Click on the Options Menu, then Properties (or use the Properties tool on the toolbar).
A dialog allows you to change many of the basic functions of IrfanView.
Click one of the tabs to see the properties in that section. They are:
JPEG/PCD/GIF, Extensions, File Handling, Viewing, Full Screen, Video/Sound, Language, Browsing/Editing, Start/Exit, Miscellaneous, PlugIns, Toolbar.
